![]() I assume I could just play via Amarok on my PC the files that are on the NAS, then stream the audio to the PulseAudio server of the NAS. PS: using Pulseaudio on Linux may be a solution (I haven't really digged this yet). What I want to do is controlling the NAS from the device. Any suggestions? Using my NAS as a DLNA server does not look like the right thing to do, because that would mean streaming the music to the devices, which are not connected to any speakers. I would like to install a web UI similar to Amarok on my QNAP. I use Amarok on my PC and this is for me the ideal GUI. It's completely sluggish, and I hate the interface, I am just not able to browse my (huge) audio library efficiently. Music Station works, but as in, I really find it barely usable. However for the music / audio part I'd like to be able to control the TS-251 via any device connected to the network, but still have the sound come through the speakers connected to the NAS. The video part works very well, when I powerup the projector I use Kodi and everything is perfect. It is connected via HDMI to an A/V receiver / amp, which is then connected itselfs to speakers and to a projector for a Home cinema experience.
